PLAN Workshop: Evidence Synthesis 101
Evidence synthesis is a comprehensive approach to research that brings together relevant information from different types of studies focused on a particular research question or problem. Popular method types include systematic reviews, scoping reviews, and meta-analysis. Historically, it has been heavily used in the medical field to make clinical practice decisions, but it is now being used dynamically in a number of disciplines and fields. Join us to find out more about evidence synthesis, how it can be helpful in your field of study, the different types and basic steps involved, as well as tips and resources for getting started.
