Save Students Millions...One Textbook at a Time In-Person
Did you know that since the Spring 2024 semester, students have saved almost 1.5 million on textbook costs thanks to the UofL Libraries Affordable Learning and Open Educational Resources (OER) initiative and UofL faculty dedication to affordable course materials? Join this interactive workshop to learn how to become a part of this transformative initiative.
In this session led by Dr. Natalie Allen, you will:
-
Discover what quality OER looks like
-
Explore free, high-quality OpenStax resources (presentations, test banks, and more)
-
Learn about Creative Commons licenses
- Remix and create your own OER
Upon completing the workshop, you will also receive a certificate of participation from Rice University’s Glasscock School of Continuing Studies.
